This website, raven maps, has cool maps. I love this washington one. I'm not buying it now, but would be a cool gift. Also a cool gift for some other people I know...

iLove iWant

This is a fun app that is pretty simple, just sets you up with basic icons to search for basic needs nearby. It's pretty accurate and has some good extras (the movie icon gets you theaters, and movie times. You could get the same stuff through googlemaps, but googlemaps is just not that great usually. Plus, it's FREE!!
